Appetizer Beer-Cheese Fondue Recipe



When I think of this recipe, the first thing that comes to mind is game day!  I hope you enjoy this as much as my friends and family do:


What You Will Need:

–   1 loaf of French bread

–   1 package (2 cups)of  process cheese, cubed

–   1 ½ cups of frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained

–   1/4 cup of the beer of your choice (regular or non-alcoholic beer)

–   1/4 cup of diced canned pimientos, drained

–   1 tsp of ground mustard


What You Will Need to do:

1.   Preheat your oven to 350°F.

2.   Cut bread into 1” cubes.  Place the bread pieces in ungreased jelly roll pan.  Bake for 10 minutes, stirring twice, until lightly toasted. Transfer to serving dish.

3.   Meanwhile, melt the cheese in a saucepan while stirring occasionally.

4.   Stir in the broccoli, beer, pimientos and mustard.  Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until hot.

5.    Pour cheese mixture into fondue pot over Low heat or into 1 1/2-quart slow cooker at Low heat setting and enjoy!
