Spinach and Cheese Pinwheels Recipe

I have recently been introduced to the world of pinwheels.  Here is a great combination of ingredients to enjoy:

What You Will Need:

–   1 thawed pastry puff sheet

–   1 egg

–   1 Tbsp of water

–   1/2 cup of Monterey Jack cheese

–   1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

–   1 chopped up green onion

–   1/8 tsp of garlic powder

–   1 package (1¼ cups) of thawed, frozen chopped spinach

What You Will Need to do:

1.   Preheat your oven to 400°F.

2.   In a bowl, whisk the egg and water together.

3.   In a separate bowl, mix both cheeses, onion and garlic powder together.

4.   Unfold the pastry sheet so it lays flat.  Brush the egg mixture on top of it.  Then sprinkle the spinach and cheese mixture on top.

5.   Now roll the pastry up like you would a jelly roll.

6.   Cut into ½” slices and place on a baking sheet.  Brush the tops of the slices with the egg mixture.

7.   Bake for 15 minutes or until the slices become golden brown.  Let the pinwheels cool for about 10 minutes before enjoying.

About Dino
There are many things that I love to do. One of those things is crafts! If I could find a job that involved crafts and being able to pay the bills, I'd be all over it! I've also found a great love for cooking and baking in the past few years. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to be able to fully get into cooking and baking to the degree that I would like to. I've also found myself making a HUGE effort to save my family money. I'm still a beginner but I'm surprised at how many different ways I've found to save money, including starting to use coupons! I hope you enjoy all that I'm about to share.
