Salted Pretzel Crescents Recipe

This is a hit, no matter what occasion, and I continue to make it time and time again!  Hope you enjoy this salty treat as well!

What You Will Need:

–   1 can (I usually use Pillsbury) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls dough

–   1 egg

–   ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese

–   1 ½ cups of beer

–   ¼ cup of baking soda

–   1 tsp of coarse salt

What You Will Need to do:

1.   Preheat your oven to 375°F.

2.   Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.

3.   Divide the dough into eight triangles.  Place 1 tbsp of cheese on the wide part of the triangle.  Roll up the dough, by starting with the smallest side. 

4.   In a bowl, pour in the beer and microwave for 2 minutes or until the contents become hot. 

5.   Slowly add the baking soda to the bowl and stir until it is dissolved.

6.   Dip each piece of dough into the bowl mixture and then let stand for about 3 minutes.  I usually place the pieces on a cooling rack during this time.

7.   Next, in a separate bowl, beat the egg, brush it on each crescent roll and sprinkle on top with the salt.

8.   Now, place the rolls onto the cookie sheet and shape/curve like a crescent shape.

9.   Finally, bake for about 10 minutes or until the top has become golden.
