Dairy Queen Ice Cream Recipe


While growing up, I remember walking over to the local Dairy Queen on a extremely hot day for a delicious treat.  Now you can save by making it at home.

–  2 packages of gelatin

–  4 cups of whole milk

–  1 tsp of salt

–  3 cups of sugar

–  3 cups of cream

–  3 tbsp of vanilla


1.   Soften gelatin in cold water (about ½ cup).

2.   Heat milk until extremely hot but make sure not to boil and then add the gelatin.

3.   Add sugar, salt, vanilla and then let everything cool down.

4.   Add cream and place in refrigerator to slowly cool together (about 4 hours) before placing in the freezer.
