Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Truffles Recipe

 

 

What a perfect treat idea, truffle cheesecake.  Hope you enjoy!

 

What You Will Need:

–  1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

–   1 package (8oz) of cream cheese

–   ½ cup of icing sugar

–   ½ cup of graham crumbs

–   1 Tbsp of vanilla extract

–   ¼ tsp of salt

–   sweetened coconut flakes for the coating

 

What You Will Need to do:

1.    Melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips in a double boiler.

2.   While you`re waiting for the chocolate chips to melt, using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth.  Add icing sugar, graham crumbs, vanilla and salt and blend well.

3.   Mix in the melted chocolate and the remaining chocolate chips.  Cool mixture in the freezer until firm, about 15 minutes.

4.   Hand-roll into balls the size of large marbles.

5.   Toss balls in coconut, sprinkles or graham crumbs until well coated.

6.   Return to freezer and chill thoroughly, about 15 minutes, or until ready to serve or wrap up.
