Peppermint Latte Recipe

Nothing warms up a person better than indulging in a tasty, warm beverage. Here’s a peppermint latte recipe that does the trick to warm me up time and time again.

What You Will Need:

– 2 shots of espresso or strong coffee

– 1 cup of milk

– a few drops of peppermint extract (depending on your preference, I usually add 1 tsp)

– whipped cream on top

What You Will Need to do:

1. Brew the coffee.

2. While you’re waiting for the coffee to brew, warm up the milk on the stove or in the microwave.

3. Add the coffee and milk to a mug. Add the peppermint extract and stir up contents.

4. Place the desired amount of whipped cream on top and enjoy!

Snapple Like Lemon Iced Tea Recipe

On a hot summer’s day, nothing beats a nice cool drink like a thirst quenching iced tea. Here’s a recipe to cut the cost of purchasing the real thing in the store and which I also think is better tasting too.

What You Will Need:

–   2 Lipton Tea Bags (change the flavour up by trying different tea bags, I really like using Green Tea for this recipe)

–   8 cups of water

–   1/3 cup of lemon juice

–   ¾ cup of sugar

What You Will Need to do:

1.   In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.  When the water has come to a boil, turn off the heat and add the tea bags, as if you were boiling water to make hot tea.

2.   Cover the pot, let the water and tea bags steep for about an hour.

3.   After the hour has past, dispose of the tea bags.  Place the sugar in a container where you will be storing the tea, like a pitcher.

4.   Pour the tea over the sugar, in the container.

5.   Now add the lemon juice and stir until all of the sugar is dissolved.

Enjoy
