Green Tea and Fruit Smoothie Recipe

I named this smoothie “fruit” as you can choose any fruit you desire; however, the combination I have below is my favourite. As well, I use soy milk but you can use whatever milk is your preference:
What You Will Need:

– 2 medium bananas, cut into small pieces
– 4 green tea bags
– 1 ½ cups soy milk
– 1 Tbsp honey

1. Place cubed kiwifruit and banana pieces in a container or plastic bag and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes or until the fruit becomes firm.
2. Boil the soy milk and then pour over tea bags, in a bowl, so that the tea can steep, for about 5 minutes.
3. Now discard the tea bags, stir in the honey.
4. In a blender, combine the kiwifruit, bananas, and tea mixture.
5. Blend contents of blender until smooth and enjoy!

Florentine Cheese Crepes Recipe

Just recently, I’ve become a fan of crepes so I’m always on the lookout for new recipes.  Here is one below that is simple in procedure but not simple in taste:

What You Will Need:

–   ¾ cup of flour

–   ¼ tsp of salt

–   ¼ tsp of paprika

–   2 lightly beaten eggs

–   2 cups of milk

–   ¼ cup of melted butter

–   1 Tbsp of melted butter

–   ½ cup of grated parmesan cheese

–   1 cup of shredded swiss cheese

–   1 package (10oz) of frozen spinach

What You Will Need to do:

1.   In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of the flour and the salt.

2.   Next, add 1/2 cup of the milk, the eggs and 1 Tbsp of melted butter.  Beat contents of bowl until it is well mixed together and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

3.   Preheat your oven to 350°F.

4.   Light grease a pan and heat up.  For one crepe, pour 2 Tbsp of the batter into the pan.

5.   Cook on one side only until lightly browned.  Repeat with remaining batter.

6.   On low heat, melt 1/4 cup butter in pan.

7.   Stir in remaining 1/4 cup flour.  Cook or until contents of pan become bubbly.

8.   Slowly add the remaining 1-1/2 cups milk.

9.   Once completely mixed together, bring to boil but continue to stir.  Then reduce heat and stir until contents thicken.

10.   Next, add the parmesan cheese.  Once everything is mixed well, remove 1 cup of the cheese sauce and place into a bowl.  Add the spinach and Swiss cheese and mix together.

11.   Spoon about 1/4 cup of the spinach mixture down the center of each crepe and then roll the crepe up.

12.   Place the rolled up crepes, seam-sides down, in a baking dish.  Top with remaining cheese sauce and sprinkle with paprika.

13.   Bake for 25 minutes or until everything has been heated right through.
