Beef and Broccoli Lo Mein Recipe

Save money but making this super easy recipe at home, instead of paying takeout prices:

What You Will Need:

–   8oz of thin spaghetti, broken in half

–   1 tsp of dark sesame oil

–   1 Tbsp of vegetable oil

–   3 cups of chopped broccoli

–   1 1/2 cups of sliced onion

–   1 Tbsp of ginger

–   4 minced cloves of garlic

–   12 ounces sirloin tips, cut crosswise into thin strips

–   3 Tbsp of beef broth

–   3 Tbsp of soy sauce

–   2 Tbsp of brown sugar

–   1 Tbsp of oyster sauce

What You Will Need to do:

1.   Cook the spaghetti as indicated on the package.

2.   Drain the noodles well, then return them to the pot and toss them with the sesame oil.

3.   In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil.  Then add the broccoli and onion and cook.

4.   Then add the ginger and garlic and continue stirring while the mixture cooks.  Add the sirloin and cook it, stirring often, until it is no longer pink.

5.   In a bowl, mix the broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and oyster sauce together.

6.   Add the mixture made in step 5 to the pasta to the skillet and continue cooking, stirring often, for 1 to 2 minutes or until everything is heated through.

About Dino
There are many things that I love to do. One of those things is crafts! If I could find a job that involved crafts and being able to pay the bills, I'd be all over it! I've also found a great love for cooking and baking in the past few years. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to be able to fully get into cooking and baking to the degree that I would like to. I've also found myself making a HUGE effort to save my family money. I'm still a beginner but I'm surprised at how many different ways I've found to save money, including starting to use coupons! I hope you enjoy all that I'm about to share.
