Slow Cooker Pumpkin Chili Recipe
I absolutely love this twist to the usual chili recipes that are out there.
What You Will Need:
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
– 1 tsp of minced garlic
– 1/2 a diced onion
– 1 chopped red bell pepper
– 1 ¾ cups of canned kidney beans
– 1 ¾ cups of canned black beans
– 1 ¾ cups of canned navy beans
– 1 cup of tomato sauce
– 1/2 cup of tomato sauce with garlic and onions
– 3 1/2 cups of diced, canned tomatoes
– 1 ¾ cups of canned pumpkin puree
– 2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
– 2 tsp of chili powder
– 1 tsp of ground cumin
– t tsp of seasoning salt
What You Will Need to do:
1. In a saucepan, cook the ground beef.
2. Next, stir in the red pepper flakes, garlic and onion to the beef. Followed by adding the red bell pepper and cook for about 3 minutes.
3. In your slow cooker, mix the kidney beans, black beans, navy beans, tomato sauce, tomato sauce with garlic and onions, diced tomatoes and pumpkin. Add the pumpkin pie spice, chili powder, cumin, and salt.Stir in the ground beef mixture until everything is mixed together well.
4. Cook on LOW for 1-2 hours.
