Frugal Tip ~ Make Your Own Emergency Car Kit

Are you going travelling this holiday season?  If you’re not, you should have an emergency car kit in your vehicle.  There’s no point spending two or three times the price on a store bought emergency car kit, when you can make it at home for a fraction of the price.  Here’s a list of items be in this car kit:

 

1.   Compact shovel;

2.   Ice scraper;

3.   Flashlight;

4.   Sand or cat litter (to place under your tires, if you get stuck);

5.   Flares;

6.   Heavy blanket;

7.   Candles;

8.   Matches; and

9.   Warm clothing.

There are many things that I love to do. One of those things is crafts! If I could find a job that involved crafts and being able to pay the bills, I'd be all over it!
