Crab Penne Casserole Recipe

Here is a frugal, crab dinner recipe:
What You Will Need to do:
– 1 ½ cups of uncooked penne
– 1 ½ cups of chopped imitation crab meat
– 1 jar (roughly 1 ¾ cups) of Alfredo sauce
– 1 medium, sliced squash
– 1 medium, sliced zucchini
– 1 ½ cups of shred mozzarella cheese
– 1 Tbsp of parsley
– ¼ tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
– 2 Tbsp of dry bread crumbs
– 2 tsp of melted butter
What You Will Need to do:
1. Cook the pasta as indicated on the packaging.
2. In a bowl, mix the Alfredo sauce, squash, zucchini, crab, parsley and pepper flakes together.
3. Once the pasta is cooked and drained, add to the ingredients already in the bowl.
4. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
5. Mix the sauce and pasta together so that the pasta is completely covered.
6. Pour the contents of the bowl into a greased baking dish which is at least 9” x 13”.
7. Cover the baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes.
8. Once the pasta is heated all the way through, take it out of the oven. Sprinkle bread crumbs and butter on top.
9. Place the baking dish, now uncovered, back into the oven for about 5 minutes or until the bread crumbs have turned light brown.
