Pizza Bread Recipe

This is a yummy family favourite that is requested time and time again.  I’ve even made this for a few house parties and it seems like I can never make enough.

What You Will Need:

–   3 cups of flour

–   2 ¼ tsp of instant quick-rise yeast

–   1 ½ tsp of salt

–   1 cup of warm water

–   1 ½ tsp of sugar

–   2 Tbsp of vegetable oil

Inside of Dough:

–   1 cup of chopped pepperoni

–   1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

–   1 tsp of dried oregano

–   1 tsp of garlic powder

–   1 cup of grated parmesan (or my family likes more mozzarella)

–   ½ cup of melted butter

–   ¼ tsp of pepper

–   at least a cup of pizza sauce for dipping

What You Will Need to do:

1.   For the dough, mix the flour, yeast, salt and sugar into a bowl.  Next, add the warm water, oil and beat together for about 3 minutes.  Now, place the dough onto a floured surface.  Knead the dough, add extra flour if necessary, until the dough is no longer sticky.  Place in a bowl that is lightly greased with oil.  Cover the dough for about 30 minute so that it can rise.  After, grease a large tube pan and place on a rimmed baking sheet.

2.   For the inside of the dough, cut the dough into roughly 32 pieces.  Flatten each pieces between your hands and place 1 ½ tsp each of shredded cheese and pepperoni in the center of the dough.  Close the dough around the filling and seal into a ball form.

3.   For the topping, combine the herbs, cheese and pepper in a bowl.  Dip the dough balls into the melted butter and sprinkle the topping mixture on top.

4.   Preheat your oven to 375°F.

5.   Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes so that that the pieces are firm and golden.

About Dino
There are many things that I love to do. One of those things is crafts! If I could find a job that involved crafts and being able to pay the bills, I'd be all over it! I've also found a great love for cooking and baking in the past few years. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to be able to fully get into cooking and baking to the degree that I would like to. I've also found myself making a HUGE effort to save my family money. I'm still a beginner but I'm surprised at how many different ways I've found to save money, including starting to use coupons! I hope you enjoy all that I'm about to share.
