Mini S’mores Hand Pies Recipe
August 7, 2012 2 Comments
I found this yummy recipe on the Pillsbury website. I hope you enjoy these mini pies filled with graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows all stuff into a handheld pocket crust as much as we did!
What You Will Need:
– 1 refrigerated pie crust box
– 1/2 cup of graham crackers finely crumbed (works out to be about 8 graham crackers)
– 1/4 cup of sugar
– 3 Tbsp of melted butter
Filling Ingredients:
– 1/2 cup of marshmallow crème (you can always melt some marshmallows very slowly in the microwave to get this)
– 2 Tbsp of cream cheese (works out to be about 1 oz)
– 2 Tbsp of sugar
– 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
What You Will Need to do:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Unroll the pie crust. Take 3” round cutter and cut 10 circles from the crust. In a shallow bowl, mix cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup of sugar. Brush both sides of pie crust circles with butter and dip into cracker mixture to coat.
3. Place 10 coated pie crust circles onto the cookie sheet. Stir together filling ingredients. Spoon a heaping tablespoon filling into the centre of each of the 10 circles. Place remaining pie crust circles onto the filling on each. Pinch edges to seal.
4. Bake for 9-12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature. Can be store in the refrigerator.
